It’ll get you an aura mod and 10 Nitain, which isn’t bad. But you only get 50 Wolf Creds.ĥ0 Wolf Creds doesn’t get you very far. Doable, and you can do it all in a week you manage all the dailies and maybe a couple of elite weekly tasks as well. Getting to level 3 with Nightwave requires 30,000 standing, or 10 weekly normal challenges. Wolf Creds are earned as you reach specific levels, the first of which is level 3. They’ve been replaced with daily and weekly challenges, as well as a “Wolf Creds” shop. Now, with Nightwave, those random missions are gone. The rewards weren’t always amazing unless you managed to catch a rare Orokin Reactor or Catalyst, but they were something to do. Nitain was always only available in alert missions, with insanely rare chances to appear in caches in sabotage missions or in Ghoul bounties. Most importantly though, there were always 4 Nitain Extract alerts a day. There were also Nightmare missions, where you’d have no shields and enemies would do triple damage, and you’d get a Nightmare mod (a mod with two stats on it instead of one). Very rarely, you might see an alert for an Orokin Reactor or Catalyst. Occasionally there would also be alerts for things like weapons (for example the Plasma Sword and the Jaw Sword) and you can also get random blueprints for Warframe helmets. Mostly these weapons would give you credits and a resource, or pitiful amounts of endo. Any alert could be any random mission that would give you a specific reward at the end. Nightwave was supposed to replace the need for alerts, but… Nightwave isn’t a replacement for alerts at all. Each successful Operation builds progress that adds to the overall community goal, driving back enemy forces before the invasion engulfs the entire Origin System. Players can now formulate plans in a new 50-person Relay (the new Operation Room) and then embark on four-player missions (“Operations”) utilizing cooperative ground and Railjack attacks (the new Operation Link feature) to achieve combined community goals. It’s up to the Tenno to rally together and repel these early attacks. Honing in on Railjack ships, the invaders send forth boarding parties, including Anu Mantalysts and Anu Interference Drones, to disrupt and disable systems, from Side Turrets to Battle Avionics to Speed Boosting, testing Tenno resilience. Following the cinematic cliff-hangar from 2019’s Empyrean, the first wave of Sentient scouts have breached the Veil Proxima using Ramsled ships to disrupt Tenno momentum.
Operation Scarlet Spear’s new cinematic delves into uncharted narrative territory with the Sentient threat deploying forces across the Origin System. Repelling Sentient Attacks in the Veil Proxima Players will discover the origins of the anti matter-wielding Nova in a new Leverian exhibit and obtain her second Deluxe Collection, including variants of her Armor, Syandana and skins of signature weapons.
